Google confirms Android Family Hub, an iOS-style home for family controls in Settings

TL;DR

  • Google’s latest System Services release notes confirm the new Android Family Hub, a dedicated space for family management tools in Android Settings.
  • The feature is arriving with Google Play services v26.43.
  • We recently spotted the Family Hub in testing on Pixel 11 phones, sitting at the top of the Settings app much like Apple’s Family section on iOS.

Managing a Google family group on Android has long meant bouncing between the Family Link app, the Play Store, and various Google account pages. That’s now becoming a lot simpler, with Google putting Android family management where it should have been all along — in one place.

In its latest System Services release notes for November 2026, Google says you can now access the Android Family Hub, which it describes as “a dedicated space for family management tools in Android Settings.”
